March Favorites
Of the kitchenware, skincare, and ephemeral variety
Folks, Q1 has (finally) come and gone, and with that, I’d like share some recent faves from the month of March. I spent like 8 minutes yammering about these things on TikTok, but thought I’d compile a list here for any and all interested parties:
These drinking glasses from West Elm. I’ve been using them for my iced coffees in the morning, and I’m in love with how thin they are and the curvature of the rim. A good glass makes all the difference! - $48 for a set of 4
These Easter bunny plates from Williams Sonoma. I grabbed a set of 4 salad plates, and a set of the egg-shaped appetizer plates for my Easter table this year. I love Easter. I love the pastel colors, the food, the egg hunts, and most importantly- the Reese’s eggs.
This grill caddy from OXO. I recently fired up the grill for the first time this year, and found this little system on an end cap at my Whole Foods. It comes with a cutting board and 3 containers to keep your ingredients and tools organized, and I can see this being SO helpful for apartment dwellers who use a communal grill situation. - $39.97 on Amazon
These chicken sipping broths from Juker. I’ve picked these up at Central Market before, but became a real fan when I was reaching for these during my chest cold bottle episode last week. Excellent flavor, a little salty, and the perfect thing to sip on if you’re under the weather. - $5
The tomato hand soap from Flamingo Estate. This has been in my cart for about 6 months, so imagine my absolute glee when I receive the kindest PR package from Clorox filled with some fabulous goodies, including this soap. It smells like a fresh, juicy summer tomato, lathers like a dream and looks so chic next to the sink. Please tell me I’m not the only one getting this excited about soap. - $30
The Dr. Dennis Gross Ultra Gentle Daily Facial Peel Pads. I grabbed these on a whim in the checkout aisle of shame at Sephora, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been using these to exfoliate every few days in the morning, and they give me the most lovely, juicy-looking glow afterwards. I have very sensitive skin and haven’t experienced any irritation. I enjoyed them so much, I bit the bullet, and set myself up on a subscription. - $20 for 5 treatments at Sephora
The Rhode Barrier Butter. There are few things I was committed to like the Barrier Butter restock. I packed this for my Vegas trip last month, and it’s so nourishing, thick and just delightful.
The Longchamp travel tote. This was a gift that I’ve found myself reaching for on all of my recent trips. I need an oversized tote bag more often than you’d think, and this was perfect as my all-in-one weekend bag when I went to Austin, or as a carry on for a longer trip. I also used it in February to lug my shoes and glam to my brother’s wedding venue. I love that it folds up for storage, too. Full disclosure, I don’t see this exact one on the Longchamp site anymore, but Nordstrom appears to still have it!
Selvedge Jeans from Buck Mason. I stopped into the Northpark location specifically on a mission for pants that are NOT jeans, and here we are. Tried these on at the suggestion of the sales associate, and I’m glad I did. My clearance GAP cropped ecru jeans have seen better days, and these fit like a dream. They’re sturdy, have a nice high rise that’s hard to find, and are incredibly well made. Worth the investment for a pair I think I’ll love forever.
Some more recent favorites that aren’t tangible, but brought me joy this month nonetheless:

Southern Hospitality. I’ve waxed poetic about this masterpiece of a program on her before, but after finishing the entire series, I could write a treatise. I will be journeying to Charleston, buying bottle service at Republic, and scoping out the situation for myself- mark my words.
My podcast episode with Kenzie! This past month, I was a guest on my friend Kenzie’s podcast, House Guest. We talked all about Ina Garten’s memoir, wore wigs, made giant cosmos and had a grand old time. Worth the listen, even if you didn’t read the book!
My one-night Austin trip, and by extension- dinner at Fixe, and my first Fronk’s latte. I wrote about these in more detail in the Austin guide!

Drinking a martini in a hotel lobby. It always hits different. You know it and I know it.
Ordering a pancake for the table. I’m usually a salty breakfast kind of person, but something about having a communal pancake to share amongst your people is so beautiful. A little bite of sweet just hits the spot and balances out the dining experience if you ask me.
Taking my dog more places with me. More places are dog-friendly than you may think, and my little Oscar is such a good traveler. I want to get him more socialized around other people in public, and I’ve been making it a point to take him with me whenever I run errands that are easily doable with a dog in tow. If your four legged friend is up for it, I highly recommend.
Still to come in April: a whole slew of Easter recipes, the first of which dropped this morning! An Easter lunch hosting vlog, and a few videos from my recent collab with Josie Scherer, which was SO much fun, and incredibly tasty.
See you soon.
XOXO
– Harrison
